Our Story

For Eleven Years, I Watched the Clock.

My brother spent over a decade wrongfully incarcerated. 11 years of life, potential, and connection were taken away. But as his release approached, I realized something devastating: The world he was returning to wasn't ready for him.

Through years of visiting, volunteering, and praying in correctional environments, I searched for a bridge. I looked for a place that would welcome him home—not with a handshake or a checklist, but with a foundation of normalcy and a strong backing from God. I found programs, but I didn’t find a home. I found systems, but I didn’t find the Ekklesia.

I saw men and women released into a void—no porch light left on, no family waiting, and no community to help them rebuild. In that frustration, God gave me the vision for Ekklesia: The Connector.

We aren’t a program; we are a "Called-Out" assembly. We are the "Welcome Home" that was missing for my brother and so many others. We are a multicultural family that believes your past is not your identity, and your restoration is God’s priority.

This mission wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born in a prison visiting room, fueled by 11 years of hope and the promise that God restores what the years have stolen.

Whether you are coming home, looking to serve, or seeking a place to belong: You are here by design. There is a seat at our table for you.

Reentry support, welcome home after prison, wrongful incarceration restoration.
